A Walk Down Queen's Promenade

Walking has been a popular choice of exercise during lockdown, so I decided to go for a walk down Queen's Promenade, which takes you from Surbiton to Kingston town centre. On Portsmouth Road, it is adjacent to the River Thames. The day was very cloudy and cold when I walked there.

You see a lot of wildlife when taking a stroll down the Promenade. I saw plenty of pigeons and ducks but, unlike other times, there was no swans.

A lot of people have boats stationed on the river and sail down its course.

People also row down the river instead of using traditional transport. It is a good way to exercise.

On a sunny day the promenade is very busy and looks picturesque. Unfortunately, on an overcast mid-October morning, it does not look as great.
